  1. Prexxer
  2. =======
  3. Prexxer is a simple program to combine parts of a set of images (one
  4. with a general body shape, another with hair styles, etc.) into one
  5. single character, kind of like a dress-up program. This is useful to
  6. combine sprites made by artists and create your own character, eg. for
  7. videogames. The result can of course be exported to PNG.
  8. The first version uses the
  9. "[Pixel People](http://opengameart.org/content/pixel-people)" sprites
  10. by TokyoGeisha. Maybe one day I'll modify it so you can load your own
  11. set of sprites.
  12. The name is a portmanteau of "pixel" and "dresser", and is a small
  13. experiment in [Elm](http://elm-lang.org/).
  14. Using online
  15. ------------
  16. Just visit the URL below:
  17. http://hardcorenarrativist.org/prexxer/
  18. Again, note that by now you can only use the "Pixel People" sprites,
  19. but it should not be a lot of work to add other sprites.
  20. Development
  21. -----------
  22. To develop, you can open a terminal and type:
  23. npm run dev
  24. You will then have the development version in http://localhost:3333 .
